Collagen
Our marine collagen is sourced from wild stocks in the deep waters of the North Atlantic. We work with MSC certified fisheries who are independently assessed each year by scientists and marine experts, to meet sustainable fishing standards and practices.
Working hard to reduce our environmental impact.
At Rejuvenated we are passionate about reducing our impact on the planet. This starts with how we source our products; the means by which we transport them; and of course, our final packaging.
Transparency is important to us. As a business, we are always evolving to be as environmentally responsible as possible.
In 2020, we unveiled compostable bio-pouches for our global bestseller, Collagen Shots. Despite carrying out a number of tests in advance, we discovered that the film within the pouches did not provide 100% protection for our award-winning collagen powder, especially in warmer weather conditions.
In 2022, we employed Sheffield University to complete a feasibility study on the best environmentally friendly materials for our packaging. The study showed that mono-plastic packaging was the best option for us as a brand, as it was easier for consumers to collect, sort and recycle efficiently. Following these findings, we decided to transition to mono-plastic pouches for the new rebrand in September 2022.
How we are implementing responsible business practices

Packaging is just one area that we are addressing when it comes to our environmental footprint. We are constantly seeking distribution methods which will have the least impact on the planet. In addition to this, we try to use electrical delivery services where possible.
At Rejuvenated, we understand that shipping products around the world can have a detrimental effect on the environment. Since 2021, we have shipped in bulk by sea wherever possible. We also hold product in international warehouses where it can be delivered at a more local level. We distribute our products to the rest of the EU from a warehouse in the Netherlands. We are also working with a local stockist to distribute our products from Australia, thus reducing our carbon footprint and speeding up delivery times.
As a brand, we are mindful of the quantity of products we produce. Smaller independent brands like us do not have the need to run huge production runs, which in turn reduces our impact on the environment.
We have also replaced our plastic scoop in Collagen Shots for a metal alternative.
