Step 1
Blend the tahini with the lemon, olive oil and garlic until smooth and creamy. Add in the chickpeas and basil, then blend once more, scraping down the sides as needed, until smooth. Add a splash of water to help achieve the right consistency, if needed.
Step 2
Season to taste, then store in an airtight container in the fridge.

- 1 handful basil
- 1 tin chickpeas, drained
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp tahini
