Our top antioxidants for youthful skin

You read the word everywhere but what exactly is an antioxidant and why do we pack the Rejuvenated products full to the brim with them?

Antioxidants are chemicals (both naturally occurring and man-made) that can prevent or slow cell damage. An “antioxidant” is actually not a substance; it’s a behaviour.

Cells become unstable as they lose electrons (positive and negative charges) to become ‘free radicals’ starting a chain reaction and damaging other cells. Any compound that has the ability to give electrons and counteract free radicals has antioxidant properties.

Vitamins found in fruits, vegetables and herbs are full of antioxidants to help protect tissues in the body. The reason we use extracts from antioxidant rich plants in our products is enhance the benefits of your results.

Here are just some we have included in our award winning range.
