Chickpeas are packed with plant proteins and vitamin B6, which helps the body to produce sleep inducing hormone vitamin B6. While basil helps to calm the body to prepare you for a deep slumber. This chickpea and basil hummus is the ideal supper snack for long hours of beauty sleep.


Step 1 -

Blend the tahini with the lemon, olive oil and garlic until smooth and creamy. Add in the chickpeas and basil, then blend once more, scraping down the sides as needed, until smooth. Add a splash of water to help achieve the right consistency, if needed.

Step 2 -

Season to taste, then store in an airtight container in the fridge.

  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 Lemon, juice
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Tahini
