My Rejuvenated day with Kathryn
I adore all the Rejuvenated products, they form a big part in my health and well being. Even though I’m now in my 60’s I feel my skin is in better condition.
On getting up I drink a glass of warm water and do my exercises with a big glass or H3O Hydration.
I tend to alternate between a fitness video (Tracy Anderson) and yoga followed my a few minutes of mindfulness. Then a brisk walk, our pup is 9 months old and he definitely gives us the reason to get out in the fresh air. It’s a great opportunity to calm the mind and really does make a difference to my well being.
Breakfast: is almost always a Protein Smoothie, most days I add almond milk, berries a scoop of macca and matcha tea. It’s so filling and keeps me going for hours.
My favourite brew is ginger tea or a cup of regular tea with milk.
Supplements: Re-set and Skin Perfecting Complex at breakfast
Lunch: This depends on what’s in the fridge and the season.
On colder days I often make up a veggie soup that will feed everyone for a couple of days. If we’re busy in the office then it’s a quick Protein Soup, these are so tasty and with 11g of Protein in they are nourishing. They have vegetables freeze dried and contribute to 1 of your 5 a day.
When it’s warmer I never tire of salads with rainbow veggies and some form of protein. I tend to eat eggs or fish as I find it hard to digest pulses and add essential fats such avocado, olives and nuts.
Dinner: More veggies, lean protein with complex carbs such as brown rice, quinoa or sweet potato. If I want a pudding it’s usually coconut yogurt with berries and seeds or an almond milk matcha latte.
Snacks: Protein Smoothie, rice cakes, fruit or nuts, including nut butters.
Night time: Collagen Shots and H3O Night Repair. I try to get to bed around 10.00 as I’m an early riser. Doing a few minutes of mindfulness helps me to quieten my mind and sleep more peacefully.
What’s your favourite indulgences?
I really love healthy food and even my indulgences are quite healthy. Dark chocolate and a good red wine would top the list.
