It’s probably taken over half a century, but we are now slowly starting to realise that diets simply don’t work. On a diet, you might shed the pounds at first, but then they gradually pile back on.

As you know, I’ve been where you are now. Yet, after years of trying different diets – some faddy, many impossible to stick to – I found that by simply eating healthily, my body was completely transformed. My skin was vibrant, my energy levels soared, and those niggling aches and pains disappeared altogether.

My lesson? Well, it’s simple, really! Diets are not the answer, and they never have been. The key is to enjoy a healthier, happier lifestyle, and you will soon reap the rewards.

It’s also important to stop being too hard on yourself, and to remember that we’re all individuals. We have different lifestyles, genes and environments, and what works for someone else might not be quite right for you. We take that into account and gives you the guidelines, the bare bones, to work from so that you can create your own plan for your future health and well-being.

Our biological age shows how our bodies are wearing and is a truer measure of your health than those ticking years. Our lifestyles can play a big part in determining this – making good choices can wind back the clock, while poor lifestyles may see us age beyond our years.
