Soaking up the summer sun feels good in the moment, but unfortunately, is not without consequence. As we enter a new season it’s time to up our skincare game with a post-summer skin detox, as most commonly our skin is suffering from UV induced dehydration. Peel away the dead layers

A gentle resurfacing product is one of the most effective ways to reveal brighter, more energised skin. It will also help to reduce pigmentation.

If it’s still sunny avoid doing a peel in the morning as it will make your skin more sensitive to the sun. Those with an oily or acned skin may find a beta hydroxyl-based product right for them as it calms and reduces redness. For older customers we’d recommend an alpha hydroxyl formula that contains lactic or glycolic acid. You’ll find that products will absorb more readily into your skin. Follow up with a serum and of course an SPF.
