Pea Protein

Pea protein is a form of protein powder, valued for its high digestibility (90-95%), low potential for allergic responses. Pea protein has a light texture and slightly sweet taste, which mixes well in solution. It is less allergenic than soy and has no negative health controversies associated with it.



The European Food Standards Agency (EFSA) considers that 1 gram of Glucomannan drank with 1 – 2 glasses of water gives a feeling of fullness. Glucomannan can hold up to 100 times its own weight in water. It is a bulk – forming agent and may have a positive influence on blood sugar levels by delaying stomach emptying. These actions also promote healthy cholesterol levels, thereby supporting cardiovascular health.

Mushrooms: Studies show that mushrooms reduce inflammation in arterial cells and prevent white blood cells from sticking to arterial walls. The polysaccharide content of mushrooms is responsible for their immune-boosting activity.
Mushrooms contain high amounts of copper, which is needed to produce blood cells and maintain heart health. Additional nutrients are vitamins C, D and B; and the minerals selenium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and zinc. They are an excellent source of B vitamins.
Garlic is well known for its benefits for the heart and also it’s antibacterial and anti-fungal properties thanks to the sulfur-containing compounds in each clove, including powerful allicin.

Empty contents into a cup or mug, add 250 mls hot (not boiling water) and stir to blend well.

Ensure the soup is not too hot before drinking and if necessary add a little cool water.
